ABOUT THE PROJECT
639 Apartments & 15,000 sq ft of retail/ commercial in five Buildings/Blocks that vary in height between 5 and 17 storey; Also included a one level basement (299 car spaces) over the whole site and the re-phasing of approx 50% to accommodate a sewer diversion that involved using a 2m diameter closed face Tunnel Boring Machine to bore a 250m long tunnel.

BLACK GRANITES FROM CHINA
Lanterns Court by C.J.O’SHEA & GALLIARD HOMES was Unique Marble’s first high volume granite project. The project consisted of 530 granite kitchen worktops. Black granites were brought from China, and manufactured in London’s factory according to site measurements. It was one of the turning points for Unique Marble.
CHALLENGES ON THE LANTERS COURT PROJECT
China Black Granite is one of a kind granite stone we were asked to use specifically for the Lanterns Court project. This granite stone is especially good for Exterior – Interior wall and floor applications, monuments, countertops, mosaic, fountains, pool and wall capping, stairs, window sills and other design projects. Being the first high volume project was the challenge that Unique Marble’s experienced team had to carry.
